– All rooms are private – no strangers in sight!
– Masks are required for both customers and staff – we can provide masks to any players who need one
– Staff will be wearing gloves and changing them frequently
– A contactless waiver system is in place – sign on your own personal device!
– Rooms are thoroughly sanitized before (and after) every game
– Social distancing measures have been implemented to keep our staff and customers safe while playing
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email us!
What is an Escape Room?
An Escape Room is a fantastically fun, interactive puzzle game, in which you search for clues, solve puzzles, and escape! You are placed in a fully-immersive game room with other players, and you must all work together to be successful. These rooms are excellent for friends, family, team building, date nights, and special occasions!
How many people can play in a room?

Our aim is to maximize fun and keep everyone engaged during game play. So we limit the people per room.

COVID-19 Capacity Restrictions for King County Phase 2:

For 13th Floor: There is a minimum of 2 people and maximum 5 people.

For Trapped in space: There is a minimum of 2 people and maximum 5 people.

For Spell Struck: There is a minimum of 2 players and maximum of 5 players.

For Dive to Atlantis: There is a minimum of 3 players and maximum of 5 players.

How long is the game?

Actual game play is 60 minutes (up to 70 minutes for Dive to Atlantis!), but it is recommended you arrive 15 minutes early for briefing, and may stay 10 minutes late for debriefing, celebrating, and taking a team photo. COVID-19 Provision: Please arrive 5min early, as the lobby door will remain locked until 5min prior to your booking start time.

I only want to play with my friends, what do I do?

All of our rooms are private! That means only your team will play! When booking, simply select the number of players that you will have on your team, and they will be the only players you see!

What skills do we need?
There are no special skills needed! All you need is your open mind, and ability to work together with other players to solve puzzles! No hulk strength, no tools, and no magic – just you and your brain!
Do I need to bring anything?
No, all you need is yourself! There are secure lockers for you to put any belongings, so all you need is an open mind, the drive to solve puzzles and enjoy the immersive themes!
Minimum age?

The game is for ages 11 to 100+. However, everyone 17 years and under needs to have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. For children under 12, a parent/guardian must accompany them. Note: Dive to Atlantis has a hard minimum age of 13. You can call us at (206) 582-1286 or email us at info@goescapeartist.com to inquire about under 11 for our other experiences.

Can I bring kids younger than 11?

The Escape Artist is proud to be family-friendly, but for ages below 11, please call us to find out more! Please give us a call at (206) 582-1286 and we can customize your experience.

What happens if we don't solve anything?

That wouldn’t be very fun, now would it? Don’t worry! Our rooms are designed so that things will make sense to you – if you need a little nudge in the right direction, that is no problem at all! Remember, you are entitled to 3 hints, so you will surely find your way towards success!

How can I book?

The easiest way is through our website or you can call us at (206) 582 1286, or email us at info@goescapeartist.com

How much does it cost?

The cost structure varies as follows (not including tax):

For Spell Struck, Trapped in Space, and The 13th Floor:

1-3 players: $45
4+ players: $35

 For Dive to Atlantis:
1-3 players: $45
4+ players: $37

Note: All bookings are private

How can I pay?
We accept online payments through all major credit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept checks.
Do you have gift cards?
We sure do! You can order them online, or stop in during business hours to pick one up!
Is there a cancellation policy for individual tickets?

Yes, there is. At The Escape Artist, all sales are final, which means no refunds. Please be aware of that our game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds and cancellations are not accepted.

What if we are running late?

Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to game start, so that the game can begin on time. If you arrive after the official start time, your game time will be shortened accordingly, as there will be other games after yours. COVID-19 Provision: Please arrive 5min prior to your booking start time, as our lobby door will remain locked until 5min prior.

Can I sign the waiver ahead of time?

Absolutely! We attach a link to your confirmation email, and highly encourage you to sign it ahead of time! You can also download and print the waiver from here. If not, no worries, as we have a contactless system in our lobby where you can sign on your own personal mobile device.

Is your room wheel chair accessible?
Our Trapped in Space room is our only wheel-chair accessible room. Unfortunately our building is older, with no elevator, so other rooms and restrooms are not accessible.
If I don't book a full room, will there be anyone else playing the game with me?

No! All of our experiences are private! We have a tiered pricing system if you do not purchase all of the tickets, but you will never play with strangers!

Can I take pictures or videos in the room?
Sorry, but no pictures or videos can be taken of our rooms. We would be happy to take a picture of you at our celebratory picture wall though!
Can you give me hints?
Yes, of course! If you would like to play for the leaderboard, you get 3 hints throughout the game. If you want to have a good time and are stuck, you can always ask for more hints – the important thing is to have fun!
