– Room maximums are 6-7 players
– All rooms are private – only your group will play!
– Masks are strongly recommended for customers and are required for staff at all times on The Escape Artist premises
– A contactless waiver system is in place – sign on your own personal device!
– Rooms are thoroughly sanitized before (and after) every game
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email us!
What is an Escape Room?

An Escape Room is a fantastically fun, interactive puzzle game, in which you search for clues, solve puzzles, and escape! You are placed in a fully-immersive game room with other players, and you must all work together to be successful. These rooms are excellent for friends, family, team building, date nights, and special occasions!

How many people can play in a room?

Our aim is to maximize fun and keep everyone engaged during game play. So we limit the people per room.

For 13th Floor: There is a minimum of 2 people and maximum 6 people.

For Trapped in space: There is a minimum of 2 people and maximum 7 people.

For Spell Struck: There is a minimum of 2 players and maximum of 7 players.

For Dive to Atlantis: There is a minimum of 3 players and maximum of 6 players.

How long is the game?

Actual game play is 60 minutes (up to 70 minutes for Dive to Atlantis!), but it is recommended you arrive 15 minutes early for briefing, and may stay 10 minutes late for debriefing, celebrating, and taking a team photo.

I only want to play with my friends, what do I do?

All of our rooms are private! That means only your team will play! When booking, simply select the number of players that you will have on your team, and they will be the only players you see!

What skills do we need?

There are no special skills needed! All you need is your open mind, and ability to work together with other players to solve puzzles! No hulk strength, no tools, and no magic – just you and your brain!

Do I need to bring anything?

No, all you need is yourself! There are secure lockers for you to put any belongings, so all you need is an open mind, the drive to solve puzzles and enjoy the immersive themes!

Minimum age?

The game is for ages 11 to 100+. However, everyone 17 years and under needs to have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. For children under 12, a parent/guardian must accompany them. Note: Dive to Atlantis has a hard minimum age of 13.

Can I bring kids younger than 11?

The Escape Artist is proud to be family-friendly, but younger puzzlers under the age of 11 may not enjoy our immersive escape rooms. If you have a child between 10 – 11, we may be able to accommodate your younger player, on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at info@goescapeartist.com to discuss potential exceptions to policy.

If you want to bring an infant, please email us at info@goescapeartist.com to confirm that you intend to bring one. The infant must be strapped to a player at all times (ie: baby carrier), and cannot be a free-roaming. We also ask that you do not select a full-motion experience (The 13th Floor or Dive to Atlantis) to ensure a safe experience for all members of your team.

We typically will not allow children under our posted minimum age of 11yrs. Players below our posted minimum age have found our escape rooms to be too immersive and potentially frightening. Our staff prioritize customer safety and comfort above all else, and our minimum age policy reflects this. If you have a young player, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate their participation, but look forward to hosting their escape experience in the future.

What happens if we don't solve anything?

That wouldn’t be very fun, now would it? Don’t worry! Our rooms are designed so that things will make sense to you – if you need a little nudge in the right direction, that is no problem at all! Remember, you are entitled to 3 hints, so you will surely find your way towards success!

Other
What if we are running late?

Please plan to arrive 10 – 15 minutes prior to game start, so that the game can begin on time. If you arrive after the official start time, your game time will be shortened accordingly, as there will be other games after yours.

Can I sign the waiver ahead of time?

Absolutely! We attach a link to your confirmation email, and highly encourage you to sign it ahead of time! You can also download and print the waiver from here. If not, no worries, as we have a contactless system in our lobby where you can sign on your own personal mobile device.

Is your room wheel chair accessible?
Our Trapped in Space room is our only wheel-chair accessible room. Unfortunately our building is older, with no elevator, so other rooms and restrooms are not accessible.
If I don't book a full room, will there be anyone else playing the game with me?

No! All of our experiences are private! We have a tiered pricing system if you do not purchase all of the tickets, but you will never play with strangers!

Can I take pictures or videos in the room?
Sorry, but no pictures or videos can be taken of our rooms. We would be happy to take a picture of you at our celebratory picture wall though!
Can you give me hints?
Yes, of course! If you would like to play for the leaderboard, you get 3 hints throughout the game. If you want to have a good time and are stuck, you can always ask for more hints – the important thing is to have fun!
What if I have more questions?

We would love to answer them! Email us at info@goescapeartist.com!
